Day One

So I haven’t read the book (On The Road) that this book belongs to, and that’s okay. I am a very passionate person and when I’m into something, I’m all in. This quote describes how I am (I love being around other passionate people “The only people for me…”) and who I hope to be. This quote is very uplifting in the fact that it encourages people to revel in their passionate selves.
Day Two
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Paul the Apostle, 1 Timothy 4:12
This is my favorite Bible verse at the moment, and it helps me think about what I’m thinking about (and saying) because goodness knows it’s hard to set an example for speech when, to quote Taylor Swift, “…all you want is to be wanted…” Another translation, NKJV, says “don’t let people despise your youth,” and that reminds me that when I get older and want to do something real and important with my life that people will want to look back at what I did. If I make bad choices and set negative examples as a teen, then people will assume I will follow that pattern, even if I’ve changed.
